92-94 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Bright ruby. Penetrating aromas of black raspberry, cassis and minerals, along with a whiff of meat. Very intensely flavored and lively, with harmonious acidity leavening the wine compelling sweetness and contributing to the impression of firm structure. Combines power and finesse in the manner of the best examples of Richebourg. Finishes firmly tannic and a bit abrupt today due to the remaining malic acidity.
