Tasting Note
92-95 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Good medium color. Complex, soil-inflected aroma of raspberry, minerals, cocoa powder and earth, all lifted by a floral topnote. Broad and sweet but with perfectly integrated acidity giving energy and lift to the vivid red fruit and mineral flavors. Not at all an outsized Richebourg but wonderfully vinous, classy and long, finishing with broad, fine-grained tannins. Grivot loves the silky tannins of the best 2008s, and this could be Exhibit A.Review Date: 01 Mar 10
