Tasting Note
93-96 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Good bright, full red. Highly aromatic perfume of raspberry, crushed rock, licorice, mint, blood orange and cardamom; I might have guessed Chambolle. Then intensely flavored but youthfully unforthcoming, with savory soil tones adding interest to the fruits and flowers. Most impressive today on the chewy, sappy finish, which is given a weightlessness by the wine's outstanding energy and lift. It's hard to scrape this juice off the palate.Review Date: 01 Jan 14
