Tasting Note
(94-96) Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous (production here was 25 hectoliters per hectare): Healthy bright, dark red. Knockout nose offers scents of kirsch and maraschino cherry, minerals, spices and white pepper. Tactile, chewy wine with an outstanding combination of sweetness, mineral verve and definition. Really bulletproof fruit here. Finishes very long and penetrating, with incredible energy and lift to its anise and spicecake flavors. These 2015s are wonderfully fresh and transparent to terroir.Review Date: 01 Jan 17
