Tasting Note
92-95 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Medium red. Compelling floral and white peppery lift to the aromas of bitter cherry, Oriental spices, dark chocolate, pepper and crushed rocks. Really vibrates in the mouth, with terrific energy framing the sappy raspberry and floral flavors. Finishes broad, suave and very long, with terrific palate-staining intensity but an impression of weightlessness. A wine like this could never be made outside the Cote de Nuits-or at least it hasn't been up to now.Review Date: 01 Mar 09
