92-94 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous (100% vendange entier; 40% new oak; tasted from barrel): Good bright medium red. Captivating nose offers black raspberry, bitter chocolate, Oriental spices and flowers. Broad, sweet and voluminous but also gripping for a wine of this size. A step up in flavor intensity and length from the Clos Vougeot. This dense, sappy wine is characterized more by flowers, soil and menthol than it is by simple primary fruit.
