Tasting Note
93-95 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous (85% grenache and 5% each of syrah, mourvedre and vaccarese, aged in concrete): Youthful purple. Deeply pitched aromas of raspberry, boysenberry, Indian spices and incense, plus a strong note of candied lavender. Lush, creamy red and blue fruit flavors are strikingly fresh, with a zesty mineral spine adding vivacity. Deep but surprisingly lithe, finishing with strong punch, clarity and spicy persistence.
