Tasting Note
92-94 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous Vivid ruby. Spicy, highly perfumed aromas of raspberry preserves, candied cherry, licorice, potpourri and cinnamon. Supple, fine-grained and concentrated, with harmonious acidity supporting the sweet flavors of red fruit compote, spice cake and rose pastille. Expands on the back end, finishing with silky tannins and superb energy. There was very little of this wine made – a total of 25 hectoliters, actually.Review Date: 01 Mar 11
