Tasting Note
(91-94) Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous (13.3% natural alcohol; picked on the first day of the harvest but not hailed on): Pale, slightly cloudy yellow. Captivating lift to the aromas of lemon, spearmint and crushed stone; reminded me a bit of Alsace Riesling in its piercing, high-toned character. Pineapple and dusty mineral flavors are enlivened by ripe harmonious acidity. Finishes with excellent cut and lift. This wine hasn't been racked in a while and will probably be tighter at bottling, said Séguier, who noted that production here was barely 30 hectoliters per hectare.Review Date: 01 Jul 16
