Tasting Note
88 Points, Stephen Tanzer, 2018-2022 Vinous (only 10% new oak): Bright red-ruby. Slightly exotic aromas and flavors of jammy raspberry, brown sugar and tea leaf, complicated by a balsamic nuance. A bit oak-spicy for my taste but with a suave texture and a complicating note of licorice. Nicely savory but I wanted a bit more fruit. Finishes with a brisk white pepper note and gripping tannins.Review Date: 01 May 17
