Tasting Note
94 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Good bright, dark red. Wild aromas of plum, chocolate and graphite minerality. Sweet, lush, smoky and deep, with lovely energy and nuance to the velvety dark fruit and musky soil flavors. This compellingly chewy, full, yet suave 2010 boasts lovely early balance but should evolve gracefully for many years. Expands on the back half, finishing with enticing ripe tannins and seductive lingering sweetness. (This was aged in 70% new barrique but has the material to support it.)Review Date: 01 Nov 13
