93 Points, Antonio Galloni, 2013-2020 Vinous Dark berries, plums, espresso and spices come to life in the 2000 Montevetrano. Stylistically the 2000 emphasizes a soft, seamless expression of fruit over well-articulated aromatics. Though not the most complex Montevetrano, the 2000 impresses for its remarkable harmony, integration and sheer opulence, all of which make it a terrific vintage for drinking now and over the next decade.
