Tasting Note
(93-95+) Points, Antonio Galloni, 2018-2030 Vinous The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is quite a bit darker and more powerful than the regular bottling. Dark stone fruits, wild flowers and spices open up gradually in the glass. Hints of menthol, sage, tobacco and lavender follow, adding the final layers of nuance on the deep, fleshy finish. There is plenty to look forward to. The Riserva emerges from the estate's oldest vines and is aged predominantly in cask. There is plenty to look forward to.Review Date: 01 Feb 15
