Tasting Note
89-91 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Bright, dark red. Sappy, slightly reduced aromas of black raspberry and coffee bean. Juicy, spicy and on the lean side, with lovely cut to its flavors of spicy red fruits. Not a particularly fleshy wine but offers a subtle sweetness and considerable class. There was less millerandage in these 50-year-old vines than in the Poisets, notes Lachaux.Review Date: 01 Mar 07
