Tasting Note
93-95 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Dark red-ruby. Deep aromas of black raspberry, animal fur and game; this smells powerful! Then sweet, silky and very ripe, with terrific grip and verve-not to mention peppery lift-to the black raspberry and spice flavors. This very complex but youthfully reticent wine build inexorably on the back end, ultimately showing explosive fruit on the finish. Perrot-Minot picked until October 7, noting that the top sites in Gevrey-Chambertin came in at the end.Review Date: 01 Mar 10
