Tasting Note
91-93 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous (60-year-old vines; 40% vendange entier Bright, deep ruby-red. Pungent but reticent aromas of blackberry and spices. Rich, juicy and vibrant, with a small-berry intensity of flavor and a pronounced spice character. This really stains the palate. Boasts impressive volume, but today this is even more backward than the Poissenot, finishing with a very firm tannic spine.Review Date: 01 Mar 07
