Tasting Note
91-94 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous (68-year-old vines): Good bright red. Fruit-driven aromas of bitter cherry, pomegranate and maraschino cherry accented by a peppery nuance. At once dense and weightless in the mouth thanks to its firm mineral spine and peppery lift. This very backward premier cru boasts excellent inner-mouth tension and grip even if it still needs more elevage. Finishes with building, granular tannins and firm structure. Has all the elements to make a superb bottle.Review Date: 01 Jan 13
