Tasting Note
91-93 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Medium ruby-red. Sauvage aromas of crystallized black raspberry, violet pastille and animal fur; conveys an impression of noble rusticity. Then dense and sweet in the mouth; larger-scaled than the Champeaux, with a more layered texture. Very rich, broad flavors of black raspberry, leather, minerals and spices.
