Tasting Note
93-96 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Medium red-ruby. High-pitched, perfumed aromas of raspberry, minerals, violet and blood orange. Then wonderfully silky yet at the same time taut, with terrific penetration and delineation of fruit and mineral flavors. Mounts inexorably toward the back, finishing with a tactile, dusty quality and coating the palate with fruit and stone. But this very backward wine shows less early sweetness than the Clos Saint-Jacques. The crop level of 35 hectoliters per hectare was normal for this parcel, noted Clair.Review Date: 01 Mar 07
