Tasting Note
91-94 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous Dark purple. Seductively perfumed aromas of red and dark berries accented byAsian spices, smoky minerals and cured tobacco. Impressively sweet blackberry and kirsch flavors are enrobed in velvety tannins that become more firm on the close. This boasts wonderful purity and focus. By the way, Mazoyer told me that the most new oak used on any wine here is about 20%.Review Date: 01 Jan 08
