95 Points, Josh Raynolds, 2021-2035 Vinous (fermented in foudres, followed by 14 months of aging in foudres and new, French oak barriques) Opaque ruby. Hugely perfumed aromas of red fruit liqueur, vanilla, exotic spices and potpourri, along with hints of smoky minerals and incense that build in the background. Densely packed and alluringly sweet, showing serious depth as well as energy to its sappy raspberry and cherry liqueur, spicecake, cola, mocha and floral pastille flavors. Gains power with air while maintaining energy and focus. Smooth, even tannins harmonize with the wine's vibrant fruit on a strikingly persistent, floral-dominated finish. Review Date: 01 Feb 19
