Tasting Note
91 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Excellent fresh color. Nose dominated by coffee and cedar; notes of torrefaction. Wonderful sweetness in the mouth; seamless and delicious, and not yet showing the effects of the bottling. Tannins are more apparent than in the '95, but they are in harmony with the wine's superb lingering fruit. A fine Le Pin. Review Date: 01 May 96
