A glowing mid purple. The bouquet typifies the pure and hedonistic fruit of the village, getting us off to a good start. I was initially expecting more in the mouth here, though in fact there is still plenty, and more will emerge later after racking. Discreet for now, but on the right path. Drink from 2025-2030.

A strong even purple colour. The bouquet is up front delicious yet with evidently something more to come behind. Plenty of energy here, slightly dry at the moment, a deep red fruit even so, and the racking will bring it all forward. Drink from 2027-2033

Domaine Méo-Camuzet, Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2021 SOLD OUT

£780 per 3 bottle case in bond

A medium crimson purple in colour. The bouquet is attractive rather than massive. Lovely cherry fruit right through the middle then a firmer finish as the natural tannins of the Clos kick in. Proper length here as well. Drink from 2030-2038.
