WHITE

2019 Chardonnay, Curly Flat - £185 per 6 bottle case in bond
"An absolute deadringer for mature white Burgundy" - so said Jancis Robinson of an early vintage of Curly Flat's Chardonnay from the Macedon Ranges in Western Australia. Having tasted multiple vintages, it is clear to see that Curly Flat is committed to making seriously fine wines, and they continue to refine their approach with every vintage. So enticing on the nose, the 2019 Chardonnay shows notes of grilled grapefruit, juicy lime, toasted nuts, a subtle leesy note. Remarkably fine, poised, terrific natural acidity and a chalky mineral undertow. Outstanding. A wine we have championed for years - but don't just take our word for it!

2019 Pinot Bianco Riserva, Cantina Terlano - £170 per 6 bottle case in bond
A firm Atlas favourite from northern Italy’s Alto Adige region. Complex and textural – notes of white peach, honeysuckle, orange peel, mineral infused with distinctive saline note on finish. Long and pure. Worth decanting before serving.

2020 Soave Calvarino, Pieropan - £95 per 6 bottle case in bond
From one of the region’s top producers of Soave, Pieropan’s Calvarino has notes of ginger, lime, mint, basil – spicy, rich yet zesty with a salty-mineral tang. Delicious.

2020 Timorasso Derthona, Vigneti Massa - £110 per 6 bottle case in bond

Timorasso is a white grape from Piemonte that had faded into obscurity until a handful of producers (including Walter Massa) helped breathe new life into this fascinating and complex grape variety. The 2020 Timorasso from Massa has notes of grilled orange, apricot, pineapple and citrus, with a touch of almond. The ripe, exotic fruit is underpinned by a tension on the mid-palate and an incredible mineral persistence. Juicy, taut, incredible length - a brilliant and beautifully crafted wine.

PINK

2019 Partida Pedrer Rosat, Sara I René Viticultors - £145 per 6 bottle case in bond
Anyone who has tasted this already knows how special it is. Perhaps one of the most complex and distinctive rosés I have tasted. A serious wine, subtle hints of summer berry, herb and spice. A slight smoky note, somehow reminiscent of vintage Champagne due to time on the lees. Tasty, salty, with a blood orange note on the finish – breathtaking.

2020 Rosato Piano dei Daini, Tenute Bosco - £105 per 6 bottle case in bond
From the slopes of Mount Etna, this pale pink rosato is all class. Delicate floral and stone fruit notes, vibrant notes of peach, nectarine, cherry and a touch of spice. Refreshing, with a silky texture and a delightful, mouthwatering finish.

FIZZ

NV Extra Brut Grand Cru, Le Terroir, Adrien Renoir - £240 per 6 bottle case in bond
From one of Champagne's rising stars, this wine stunned us. Deep, rich and concentrated, notes of ripe orchard fruit and freshly baked bread, plenty of energy on the palate, with a tightly wound core of fruit. This is a complex wine with structure, impeccable fruit quality and purity. Stunning.

2016Brut Nature, Serral del Vel, Recaredo - £185 per 6 bottle case in bond
Not strictly a Cava, this is a Corpinnat (quality-focused sub-zone of Cava). We discovered this estate a couple of years ago and have championed it ever since. Focused on very extended lees ageing, these are stunning, complex wines. Completely dry (no dosage), white flowers, fresh bread, a gentle creaminess in texture, a smoky note with an underlying mineral backbone leading to a fresh and elegant finish. Seriously classy.

2012 Extra Brut Rosé, Cuvée 1522, Philipponnat - £415 per 6 bottle case in bond
From a great Champagne vintage, notes of sweet, ripe red berries and freshly-baked pastry. Plenty of direction and structure, chalky mineral undertone. So expressive, luxuriant, vibrant and long. A fabulous rosé Champagne.

RED

2019 Spätburgunder Schupen, Dautel - £180 per 6 bottle case in bond
From Germany’s Württemberg region, this classy Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) is pure elegance. Effortless and graceful, notes of pure, fragrant red berry fruit are allied to a subtle mineral grip. So harmonious, pure, supple and fresh.

2018 Nebbiolo Valmaggiore, Luciano Sandrone - £120 per 6 bottle case in bond
Young vines, gentle extraction and short maturation in old oak leads to a softer, lighter style of wine than the Barolo that Sandrone and the region are so famous for. The 2018 Nebbiolo Valmaggiore is precise and poised – orange peel, floral rosy notes and fresh red berries are underscored by a refreshing acidity and soft, ripe tannins. Sublime.
