Recap: Hundred Hills Dinner and Tasting

Hundred Hills, Oxfordshire, English Wine, Fine Wines, Atlas Fine Wines

It was great to get our events programme back underway and to welcome new and familiar faces. Our thanks go to Stephen Duckett for finding time to join us at the Pantechnicon for a fascinating introduction to the Hundred Hills estate.

Featuring a line-up of the following wines:

Hundred Hills First Edition 2016
Hundred Hills Blanc de Blancs 2017
Hundred Hills Blanc de Blancs 2018
Hundred Hills Rosé de Saignée 2018
Hundred Hills Preamble No 2 2017
Hundred Hills Preamble 2018
Hundred Hills Preamble Rosé 2018

The wines of Hundred Hills, an estate founded in the Stonor Valley in south-east Oxfordshire in 2012, have certainly impressed our clients since we first introduced them in November 2020. When tasting their first releases, Simon Larkin MW, Atlas’ Managing Director, commented ‘if we had stopped tasting at wine number 2 in our line up, we would have proclaimed it an amazing success. By the end of the tasting, I was simply blown away.‘

Now as we finally resume our schedule of tastings and dinners, we were delighted to offer you the opportunity to taste the full range at a dinner with the owners Stephen and Fiona Duckett. This exclusive dinner included the inaugural releases from Hundred Hills, as well as their latest wines from the hugely impressive 2018 vintage.
