Tasting Note
88 Points, Stephen Tanzer, 2016-2021 Vinous Medium slightly brownish red. An aroma of baked pot roast suggests some maderization. Then quite sweet and ripe in the mouth, spreading out to saturate the palate and lingering on the finish. No shortage of acidity here, and a touch green on the finish, showing slightly drying tannins. A second bottle showed a sweet entry followed by a tart middle and a finish clipped by unabsorbed acidity. Not much in the way of fruit remaining.Review Date: 01 Jun 16
