Tasting Note
(93-95) Points, Neal Martin, 2024-2048 Vinous The 2019 Chambertin Grand Cru vies with the Chapelle-Chambertin for "best bouquet in show," presenting a beautifully defined mixture of red and black fruit and touches of sous-bois and crushed iris petals. It seems to expand with aeration. The lightly spiced palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity, leading to a persistent finish. This is a fine Chambertin, although if you invited me out to dinner, I’d ask for the divine Chapelle-Chambertin. Review Date: 01 Dec 20
