89-92 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Good bright, deep red. Reduced aromas of red berries, rust, tobacco and smoky oak. Nicely creamy on the palate, but with surprising acidity giving definition to the redcurrant and cherry fruit. The firm tannins avoid coming off as dry, but the wine will require some time to absorb its finishing kick of acidity.Review Date: 01 Jan 11
