James joined Atlas Fine Wines in the summer of 2023. His professional wine journey started over 20 years ago with Oddbins. The role sparked his interest and led him to studying wine business at Brighton University. On completion of his degree, James accepted a role in London where his career really commenced in earnest. After a couple of years with a notable Burgundy and German specialist, he moved to Bancroft Wines and was soon promoted to Fine Wine Sales Manager, a role which afforded him experience in all aspects of Private and Trade Sales from managing En Primeur campaigns to cellar planning, advising on investment portfolios as well as purchasing. James brings a wealth of experience to the Atlas sales team where his focus is on private clients and new business.
